THE BECOMING

In The Becoming, I used the white peonies, the white swan and the surrounding white florals as symbols of purity, serenity and quiet strength.

The swan represents the journey of becoming — growing into ourselves, finding our inner voice and learning to trust our own timing. The full-bloom peonies speak to the moment when we are ready to reveal everything we have grown into. Not before our time, and not according to anyone else’s expectations.

There is a certain grace in knowing yourself. A calmness that comes with maturity — when you no longer feel the need to rush, prove or compare. You simply become more comfortable in your own skin and more certain of who you are.

The Becoming celebrates that quiet transformation: the understanding that our fullest bloom does not need to be forced. When the timing is right, we can open fully, with grace, serenity and peace in who we have become.
